VENTAS provided the VDC (Ventas Desktop Client) to the Open Source project aubit4gl (A4GL), which was built with Qt as a thin rich client. Qt is based on the fast C++ programming language. Through Qt, the VDC can natively run on Windows, Linux or MacOS and now on Android, iOS and soon WinRT via the VDC.mobile.

The VDC communicates encrypted and compressed data with the server application, ensuring a fast and safe environment for Cloud solutions.

A4GL is a programming language that can be used to very quickly develop your software. The VDC enables you to use that software and give it a state of the art GUI as well as allowing you to easily port your software to all major platforms. Develop once, deploy everywhere!

VDC.mobile

With the VDC.mobile technically all applications developed for the VDC can also be used on iOS and Android devices. The VDC.mobile is available for free on the iOS Store and the Google Play Store and will be coming soon to the Windows Store.
