Overview of the Guided Processes

What is a Guided Process? When would I use one?
When you need to hire, terminate, give an employee a raise or put an employee on leave and you want assurance that you're collecting the right data, the Guided Processes will guide you through step-by-step.
 
There are 4 Guided Processes included in the Employee Organiser:
  • Hire
  • Raises and Promotions
  • Leave of Absence
  • Terminate
With all of the Guided Processes, any employee data you enter will be saved to your QuickBooks file.


              Entering Data
  • Required fields will be marked with an asterisk.


  • Not all fields are required, however, it is suggested you enter as much data as you have so your employee records are as complete as possible.


              Questions
  • Every Guided Process includes Questions and Answers related to the process.


  • Relevant information is provided as well as tips on employment best practices.


              Checklists
  • Some of the Guided Processes also include checklists at the beginning and/or end of the process.


  • These checklists provide links to related tasks or documents that should be completed.


  • Links to related topics for further information are also provided
