To make sure you have the latest improvements and updates, we have provided you with an Automatic Update feature. For your convenience, this feature is turned on by default. To help ensure your software is always up to date, we highly recommend you leave this feature on.

Leaving this turned on means that you agree to receive product updates automatically from Intuit. To learn more about the Automatic Update feature or to turn it on or off, from the Help menu, choose Update QuickBooks.

For your convenience, security, and privacy:
• QuickBooks uses your Internet connection. Downloads happen in the background, without disturbing your current tasks or slowing down your computer.
• QuickBooks makes a secure connection to Intuit and transmits only technical information about your computer's connection and the QuickBooks software being updated. Personal information or personally identifiable information is not included in these secure data transmissions.
• Automatic Update is only used to update your software and some services to which you have subscribed. QuickBooks downloads only files required for your PC during the update.
