Prerequisites ----------------------------------------------------- To use the Bilmax21 reports you need Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2 or greater. The reports are best viewed using a screen resolution of 1024 x 768. You must use Internet Explorer to access Telmax because Firefox and other Web browsers are incompatible with the reporting tools used by the Telmax Web server. To display the graphical trend reports at the foot of each report you will need to install the free Microsoft Web components add-on For Office 2000/XP (OWC10.EXE) from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=982b0359-0a86-4fb2-a7ee-5f3a499515dd&displaylang=en For Office 2003 and later (OWC11.EXE) from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=7287252C-402E-4F72-97A5-E0FD290D4B76&displaylang=en This software enables Telmax to show charges in graphical form. You need to create a folder that will be used to save the Bilmax21 reports into each month. This could be on your local hard drive under something like \My Documents\Bilmax21 Monthly Reports alternatively it could be on a network drive. It is important however that you save the Bilmax21 reports into the same folder each month to ensure the historical trend graphs function properly. Accessing the reports ----------------------------------------------------- You need to extract the reports using the following procedure, 1. Click on the zipped file attachment in the email to open. 2. This should open a new window in WinZip, click on Extract. 3. Select the folder you have created and click on Extract, the files will now be extracted into the folder selected. 4. If prompted by winzip to replace an existing file with this version click Yes to All. This will ensure that you have the latest version of the programs. 5. Close WinZip. 6. To run the Bilmax21 reports simply browse to the folder and click on the file, (eg. lenalewis Click here to run your reports). This will launch the Bilmax21 reports and a home page will appear. 7. Select the month you wish to view from the dropdown list. 8. Select the distribution list you wish to use if you have more than one, otherwise click OK to take you to the first reporting level. 9. Within the Bilmax21 reports there is a help button which provides details on how to navigate around the reports as well as explaining the key features and functions. 10. You can use the show directory as means of quickly getting to a specific call detail report.
