VicTrack
Access has used Trans-Mit call accounting and billing products for over
10 years. During this time the two organisations have worked closely to
produce cost recovery and billing solutions able to meet evolving
VicTrack Access requirements.
Both organisations
will continue a close working relationship with a number of new projects
in the pipeline, VicTrack Access Telecommunication's Systems &
Billing Manager Robyn Douglas said:
“We
have been delighted with the results produced by Trans-Mit which
exceeded our expectations, particularly in relation to the web based
Bilmax21 reporting suite and the new Pre-Processor application they have
developed allowing us to import and process a wide range of third party bills for our
customers.
The
Telmax21 is processing over 5 million calls a month so the power of the Unix server is vital, as is the ability to interface with our other
MS-SQL databases and applications. VicTrack has over 2000 different
services billed to its customers each month, so the reliability and
accuracy of the Telmax21 and Pre-Processor is imperative.
The
overall performance of the Bilmax21 reports have been very well received
by customers, providing full access to details of usage and costs for
the services supplied by VicTrack. These will continue to be enhanced as
more services are implemented and VoIP technology is introduced.
The
Telmax21 has also provided key information to determine the best option
when selecting service providers to VicTrack and optimising network
capacity.
VicTrack
has over 65 PABX’s and 12000 extensions in its network, with many
located in regional areas of the State. The day to day operation and
maintenance of the data collection is crucial to our whole billing
infrastructure. We rely on the automatic system alarms and exception
reports generated by the Telmax21 to identify points of operational
failure or concern with staff notified by pager if required. The
Telmax21 also provides monthly system health check reports for
management purposes.”
