              Getting Updates
  • If you have the QuickBooks Automatic Update option activated, these updates will be downloaded automatically for you. To see whether Automatic Update is on, go to the File menu and select Update QuickBooks.


  • You will receive a message anytime updates are received.


  • If you do not have the Automatic Update setting activated, you will receive a message every 45 days prompting you to get the latest updates.


              Subscribing to the Service
  • If you have already provided credit card information, your updates will continue uninterrupted after the year of complimentary updates has expired.


  • Otherwise, you will receive a warning message that your content may be out of date due to an expired or no subscription. You can subscribe at any time to start receiving updates.
